Why This Group?

Sometimes knowing why you feel overwhelmed isn’t enough.

You may already recognize that you overthink, shut down, become reactive, take things personally, avoid difficult conversations, or struggle to recover when something doesn’t go as planned.

The question becomes:

What do I actually do differently?

That’s where DBT skills can help.

The Blooming Bonds DBT Skills Group is a structured, psychoeducational program designed to give you practical tools you can use in your everyday life.

Rather than simply talking about emotions, you’ll learn specific strategies for managing them.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Slow down before reacting

  • Stay grounded when emotions become intense

  • Manage stress without immediately trying to escape or fix it

  • Understand what your emotions are communicating

  • Challenge unhelpful thoughts and assumptions

  • Recover more quickly from disappointment and conflict

  • Ask for what you need more effectively

  • Set and maintain healthier boundaries

  • Navigate difficult relationships without losing yourself

  • Make decisions from a more balanced state of mind

The goal isn’t to stop having emotions.

The goal is to become more skillful in what you do with them.

Small Group. Practical Skills. Real-Life Application.

Learn It. Practice It. Use It.

Build skills you can carry into your relationships, work, parenting, and everyday life.
